Hey, firstly, I hope the precedings on your "deformation" lawsuit aren't too taxing. Secondly, thanks for picking up this cause (I use that word loosely and for lack of a better one). Contacting PTHC is so frustrating because they respond with that automated shit or mass emails. Please keep contacting them if you have the time. Also, have you seen the unofficial "official committee statement" that a conference organizer posted?
yeah, I saw it. I sent them a very nicely worded, passionate-but-not-too-ragey e-mail about the whole thing and how it Reflects Poorly On Them As Organizers, etc.
Annnnyway, e-mails and a few tagged tumblr posts are really the least I can do here, really. (and anyone else who wants to contact them, they’re the Philly Trans Health Conference - just google ‘em, their contact info is on their webpage. Maybe mention how they’re not being very well represented by a guy who runs a blog titled with a racial slur that posts pictures of genocide as “inspiration”.)
And MAN the “deformation” thing is just never going to not be funny.
I’m just… really unimpressed with YET ANOTHER WHITE GUY who is trying to build himself a reputation and career as an “activist” and “representative of the trans and queer communities” - cashing ALLLLL the fuck in on radikewl politics and social justice language/culture - while simultaneously trampling all over other marginalized people. Not impressed at all. Fuck it.
You have been reported for making a false quote against Ryan Cassata. This is considered slander and deformation of character and is illegal in the United States.
lol okay good luck with that, then
pretty sure it’s not slander (let alone “deformation of character” lololol forever) if it’s, you know… true. Ryan Cassata claims to not abuse his white privilege while running a blog that is titled with a racial slur. That’s not slander, it’s, you know, public record.
